WORKSHOP DETAILS:
This workshop is the final in a series from artist Pandora Wilhelm (from Mulberry Design and Engravings), for the Lakeview Village Discovery Centre artist-in-residence program, in partnership with Artscape Atelier.
Ages: This is a family workshop, children and their caregivers are welcome. Children under 12 years of age may best enjoy this stage/type of puzzle.
Skill: All skill levels welcome.
The goal of this workshop is for a collaborative effort within a family unit to create a puzzle featuring the families language representation. The puzzles will already be cut out and engraved, so families will work together to sand their puzzles, glue them together and then paint the animals. This will also encourage families to look at what their traditional art forms may be and demonstrate how art can take different forms.
Ahead of time, when registering we will ask the language that your family want for the animals as well as the name you would like along the top. Please note you will be creating 1 puzzle per family/or per child attending, however you will be required to create separate tickets for each member of your family attending, so we can keep track of total numbers in the space.
