Unitarian Congregation Mississauga (UCM) hosting a PRIDE Picinic July 6th.

The Unitarian Congregation Mississauga (UCM), 84 The South Service Road is holding a family-friendy PRIDE Picnic on behalf of Rainbow Sauga Alliance (RSA), the local 2SLGBTQIA+ City of Mississauga, registered, non-profit group. The event runs from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. rain or shine. Outdoor activities for children will include an Indigenous Drumming circle, face painting and a puppet show under a large tent. Located inside the hall there are activities for the adults include a performance of Bollywood Dancers, Poetry Reading, Authors, Singers, and Guest Speakers. Vendors will be onsite to sell items from their product lines. Some local community groups will be present to promote their services to the attendess. Local Politicians representing the area will help with our kickoff at 11:30 a.m. by addressing the attendees along with a member of the Peel Regional Police. We are honoured to have a representative from our local Indigenous Organization, Eagle Spirits of the Great Waters, to be a part of our opening ceremonies. Free food is available in regular and veggie barbecued options. EMT along with Police will be onsite. Pets are allowed but must be on a leash.
