EPISODE 1: CAWTHRA HOLDINGS PLAZA

The name might not evoke much excitement, but once you’re here, you’re quickly realize how bustling this complex is. The signage might be minimal and the storefronts…simple, but what awaits you on the inside is nothing short of amazing.

  • Odra Deli & Wholesale Meat Ltd | Polish deli offering a huge selection of house-made cured meats, imported chocolates, and delicious cabbage rolls (served on Wednesdays)
  • Dubai Gift Shop | Gift shop offering everything from elaborate plateware, tea sets, hookah sets, and accessories
  • East Meets West Halal | Classically trained French chef Ameen has created something unique here, offering Halal-friendly smoked meats and sandwiches, all made in-house by Ameen and his son Abdullah

  • The SNMB Roasted Nuts Factory | Located at the very back of the plaza, this cubicle-sized shop offers up some of the best roasted nuts around

EPISODE 2: MISSISSAUGA FLEA MARKET

Only open Saturdays and Sundays, this market comes alive on weekends. Here you can find anything from fresh produce, a food court, stalls selling textile and commercial goods, and so much more. There’s an immediate sense of community and respect felt across all the vendors that have come from all over the world to call Mississauga and this market home.

  • La Patrona | Family-owned Mexican food stall serving traditional street food, including an authentic Mexican quesadilla stuffed with cheese and topped with homemade salsa
