With origins as old as time, street food often represents the true essence of a culture’s cuisine – no frills, just fast and delicious favourites, or personalized, innovative takes on traditional dishes. Today, many food trucks and even dine-in restaurants honour this ancient tradition by adding their own twist to classic street eats, or flip the tradition by taking gourmet meals, once reserved only for luxurious dining, to the streets.

Our guide to Mississauga’s most delicious hidden gems highlights some of the best food trucks and street food among the hundreds of dining options the city has to offer.
