2022 Ontario Parasport Games
From May 13 to May 15, Mississauga is host to the 42nd edition of the Ontario Parasport Games, which sees hundreds of athletes with disabilities compete across 10 sports. Join the action by rooting on some of Ontario’s most talented athletes!
Carrassauga Festival of Cultures
Don’t miss Canada’s largest multicultural festival! A celebration of the diverse cultural origins of Mississauga’s citizens, Carassauga takes places across multiple pavilions throughout the city representing 23 countries (with free shuttle transport.) Your passport includes unlimited visits so you can enjoy a variety of live performances and cultural activities. Kids 12 and under can enjoy the Kids Zone featuring crafts, games, rides and more.
Bread and Honey Festival
Celebrating its 50th year running in 2022, the annual Bread and Honey Festival in Streetsville, is Mississauga’s longest running festival. This non-profit festival pays tribute to Streetsville’s flour mill roots and supports local community food services and artists. The whole family will enjoy exploring local merchants in the historic downtown core, as well as a variety of family fun, rides and games.
Toronto Biennial of Art
From March 26 to June 5 immerse yourself in hundreds of works of art from more than 65 local, national and international contemporary creators at Mississauga’s Small Arms Inspection Building. Developed to make contemporary art accessible, this free event is open to everyone and is a fantastic opportunity for both seasoned art enthusiasts and young kids to explore global conversations through art.
Night Market TO
Get your foodie passport ready – the Night Market TO culinary festival will take you on a whirlwind tour of international cuisines. Open until late, this market is perfect for date night, or just a late-night snack. Oh, and did we mention that admission is free?
Concerts at the Living Arts Centre
For a special evening of entertainment, look no further than the Living Arts Centre. Dress up for a sophisticated evening with the Mississauga Symphony Youth Orchestra or rock out with international music legends The Zombies during their special show on June 22.
Classic Car Thursdays in Port Credit
Every Thursday in August, Port Credit rolls out displays of beautiful classic cars. You can check them out while enjoying a walk through the Port, listening to live musicians and popping into local shops.
Farmer’s Markets
