- Journey to Isla Nublar and come the closest you’ll ever get to real dinosaurs at Jurassic World: The Exhibition.
- Learn about Black history in Mississauga through the stories of young Caribbean Canadians who shaped a distinct Canadian culture here in the 1980s at the special exhibition created by a BIPOC Community Curator, Generation X Marks the Spot: Black History in Mississauga at the Bradley Museum.
- Explore the dispossession of Japanese Canadians in the 1940s during the travelling exhibition Broken Promises at Bradley Museum until April 28.
- See the ultimate feel-good musical, Mamma Mia!, featuring many of ABBA’s greatest hits, presented by Theatre Unlimited Performing Arts at Meadowvale Theatre.
- From April 16 – May 16, visit the City of Mississauga’s Annual Resident Artist Exhibition, Ephemera, to see the artists’ showcase at the Small Arms Inspection Building.
- Discover the mutually beneficial and cyclical relationship between community and parks and greenspaces of Mississauga at the Bradley Museum’s special exhibition Meet Me at the Park from April 25 – July 21.

- April 3: Journey into the electrifying world of robotics during the FIRST Robotics Provincial Championship Event at the International Centre.
- April 3: Meet Mississauga Poet Laureate, Ayomide Bayowa and participate in a guided workshop on the process of writing poems and short works during Poetry Workshop: Figurative Language at the Malton Youth Hub – Jonathan Davis Centre.
- April 4: Experience The Beatles’ classic hits at Beatlemania Revisited, an interactive and family-friendly performance at the Meadowvale Theatre.
- April 5: Have a blast as three of Canada’s most entertaining magicians and comedians leave you laughing at The Rec Room’s adults-only event The Comedy Magic Show.
- April 5: Cheer on the Mississauga Steelheads as they face off against the Sudbury Wolves during a round one playoff game at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre.
- April 5 – 7: Have some festive fun at Eid Bazaar 2024 featuring vendors, live entertainment, children’s activities and plenty of food, happening at the Red Rose Convention Centre.
- April 7: Find one-of-a-kind gifts and coveted Victorian to mid-century modern treasures at The Sunday Antique Market at the Small Arms Inspection Building.

- April 10: Meet Mississauga Youth Poet Laureate Lisa Shen, and participate in Poetry Workshop: Love Letter to Places, a guided session on the process of writing poems and short works on the importance of places at the Meadowvale Library.
- April 11: Join four beloved international comedians for a night of laughs at the Snowed In Comedy Tour at Meadowale Theatre.
- April 12: Journey through the ancient Arab world at the Canaanite Inscriptions concert at Meadowvale Theatre.
- April 13: Join Ken Peplowski for An Afternoon of Benny Goodman’s Music at the Living Arts Centre.
- April 13 – 14: Find unique and iconic books in Arabic, English and French at the Arabic Canadian Book Fair – Second Edition, a two-day literary event at the Small Arms Inspection Building.
- April 14: Celebrate the music that inspires all of your favourite award shows at On The Red Carpet with the Mississauga Pops at Meadowvale Theatre.

- April 17: Visit Chapters Erin Mills Town Centre as TV icon & Canadian author Bill Welychka comes to Mississauga for a signing of his book A Happy Has-Been.
- April 17: Meet Mississauga’s Poet Laureates Ayomide Bayowa and Lisa Shen for an engaging panel discussion and reading on the future of poetry at the Noel Ryan Auditorium in celebration of National Poetry Month.

- April 24: Enjoy an evening of uproarious hilarity at the third annual Streetsville Comedy Festival featuring a stellar lineup of comedic talent at the Vic Johnston Community Centre.
- April 24: Celebrate Mississauga’s 50th Birthday at the City’s 5th Annual Poetry Slam featuring young literary talents performing spoken word and original works at the Living Arts Centre.
- April 26: Join Crescent Hill Gallery for CHARISMA: spring exhibition, showcasing new work by their gallery artists demonstrating the brilliance of our local art community.
- April 26: See the spectacular story of the life and trials of the “notorious” Ruth Bader Ginsberg as told in the theatre production All Things Equal at the Living Arts Centre.
- April 27: Rock out to hits from musical greats like The Beatles, Queen Metallica and more during MSO: Symphonic Pops at the Living Arts Centre as the Mississauga Symphony is accompanied by an all-star band comprised of some of Canada’s finest musicians, and a roster of fantastic soloists.
