With the holiday season coming up quickly, November is the perfect time to visit Mississauga for unique markets, festive events and family fun. Check out the exciting events happening throughout the city this month!

Ongoing Events

  • Learn about Black history in Mississauga through the stories of young Caribbean Canadians who shaped a distinctly Canadian culture here in the 1980s at the special exhibition created by a BIPOC Community Curator, Generation X Marks the Spot: Black History in Mississauga at the Bradley Museum.
  • From September 26 – December 15, visit Bradley Museum for Out of the Vault, a special exhibition showcasing 50 unique artifacts in celebration of the city’s 50-year history, and the hidden stories behind each of them.
  • Bring your family to experience the smash hit musical School of Rock live at Meadowvale Theatre from November 1 – 10.
  • Visit the Small Arms Inspection Building from November 5 – 21 to see the 5th Annual Indigenous Art Exhibition 2024 presented by Eagle Spirits of the Great Waters, showcasing inspirational works from Indigenous artists across many backgrounds.
  • Enjoy a family-friendly musical comedy as Something Rotten! comes to Meadowvale Theatre from November 29 – December 8.

November 1 - 3:

  • November 1: Give your carved pumpkins one last chance to shine at Bradley Museum’s annual Park Your Pumpkin event, where you can enjoy a pumpkin-lit stroll, Fall treats and warm drinks.
  • November 1: Join CreativeHub 1352 for Mississauga’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, an evening of jazz, dance and storytelling, as well as the premiere of their short film and a reception for the Mississauga Now and Then art exhibition at the Small Arms Inspection Building.
  • November 2: Join Mississauga’s Forestry team for Community Invasive Species Control: Groundcovers, a community event to remove groundcovers, non-native invasive plants, from Osprey Woods.
  • November 3: Shop for one-of-a-kind Victorian to mid-century modern gifts from over 80 vendors at The Sunday Antique Market at the Small Arms Inspection Building.
  • November 3: Creatives of all kinds are invited to The Art Shelter for a monthly open-ended jam session, Jam with us!

November 4 - 10:

November 11 - 17:

  • November 14: Take a nostalgic journey from 1963 to present-day hits during All McCartney Live, a world-class performance of the very best of the Paul McCartney songbook at Meadowvale Theatre.
  • November 15: For one night only at Meadowvale Theatre, enjoy a performance that will have you dancing and singing along to iconic pop hits at Tribute to the BEE GEES.
  • November 16: Help raise funds for youth mental health care while experiencing a memorable evening including dinner and live entertainment at EveryMind Mental Health Services’ Evening of Hope Gala at Mississauga Grand Banquet Hall.
  • November 16: Celebrate the Chic Murray Arena’s 50th Anniversary with some free family fun including a fun skate.
  • November 16: Join Antonina Matvienko along with the Levada & Orion Choirs for their concert Tribute to Nina Matvienko at Meadowvale Theatre.
  • November 17: Shop for one-of-a-kind Victorian to mid-century modern gifts from over 80 vendors at The Sunday Antique Market at the Small Arms Inspection Building.
  • November 17: Artists practicing South Asian art forms are invited to #MonsterMasterclass, a free grant-writing and networking workshop at C Banquets.
  • November 17: Experience Saxophone legends Kirk MacDonald & Pat LaBarbera as they pay tribute to one of jazz music’s pioneers of improvisation, harmony, and the saxophone in their performance Trane of Thought: A Tribute to John Coltrane at Meadowvale Theatre.

November 18 - 24:

  • November 19: Enjoy a mesmerizing musical experience as eight classically trained English vocalists blend ancient and pop music in Gregorian: Pure Chants at the Living Arts Centre.
  • November 22 – 24: Witness the library’s façade come alive with mesmerizing animations showcasing the creative visions of talented local artists during Mississauga’s 50th Anniversary Projection Exhibition at Celebration Square.
  • November 23: Join The Mom Market Peel Region at the Small Arms Inspection Building for the Home For The Holidays Market featuring holiday-themed workshops, gift wrapping stations and over 80 local vendors.
  • November 23: Kick off the holiday season with the official lighting of the city’s Christmas tree, free skating on the outdoor ice rink, art installations, live music and family fun at Light Up the Square 2024 at Celebration Square.
  • November 23: Enjoy a performance by the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra and guest artists as they perform Masterworks: A Czech Celebration at the Living Arts Centre.

November 25 - 30:

  • November 26: Get your tickets for an evening of festive laughs perfect for fans of Monty Python, Mr. Bean and Dr. Seuss as O Christmas Tea: A British Comedy comes to the Living Arts Centre.
  • November 27: Join film, T.V. and theatre actor R.H. Thomas for a discussion of his debut book during Author Talks: R.H. Thomson at Hazel McCallion Central Library.
  • November 30: Get ready to groove as Sister Sledge performs iconic hits like “We Are Family” at the Living Arts Centre.
  • November 30: Enjoy a cream tea service with a sweet and savoury treat and a guided tour during Teatime at Benares Historic House.
  • November 30: Get ready for a night of red carpet glamour at NovaCosmo Worldwide Pageants – International, including a fashion show and the crowning of the first NovaCosmo Worldwide Queens at the Living Arts Centre.
