From September 28th to October 4th, visit Mississauga for a once-in-a-lifetime art experience as world-renowned artist Saype transforms the landscape at Community Commons Park into a majestic outdoor fresco you’ll need to see to believe. This extraordinary and ephemeral creation won’t last, naturally fading within days, so don’t miss your chance to see this fleeting but unforgettable display.

- Learn about Black history in Mississauga through the stories of young Caribbean Canadians who shaped a distinctly Canadian culture here in the 1980s at the special exhibition created by a BIPOC Community Curator, Generation X Marks the Spot: Black History in Mississauga at the Bradley Museum.
- On Sundays from May 26 – October 27, visit the Small Arms Inspection Build for the popular Lakeview Farmers Market to shop from local farmers and artisans while listening to live music.
- Shop local at Celebration Square with the Lions Farmers Market from June 5 – October 16.
- Visit Celebration Square for Fresh Air Fitness presented by TD, an inspiring outdoor workout happening in the Square every Wednesday evening from June 5 – September 11.
- Find beautifully crafted home goods, jewellery and one-of-a-kind pieces at the Lakeview Artisan Market, happening at the Small Arms Inspection Building on select Sundays from May 26 – October 27.
- Visit Celebration Square until September 8 to celebrate sport and root on Team Canada at the Paralympic Games 2024 Screenings.
- Explore new ways to understand the passage of one space to another, the move from a home to a house, while learning stories of trauma and transformation at the Dreamland exhibition at Bradley Museum, running until September 15.
- From September 26 – December 15, visit Bradley Museum for Out of the Vault, a special exhibition showcasing 50 unique artifacts in celebration of the city’s 50-year history, and the hidden stories behind each of them.

- September 1: Creatives of all kinds and experience levels are invited to participate in The Art Shelter’s improv jam session Jam with us!
- September 1: Enjoy a performance by 8-piece rock ‘n’ roll band Little Peter and the Elegants, as they perform harmonious hits from the 50s, 60s and 70s at Port Credit Memorial Park, part of the Summer Concert Series presented by RBC.
- September 4: Visit Celebration for Amphitheatre Unplugged to enjoy performances by Mississauga’s talented local musicians, spoken-word artists, dancers and more.
- September 6: Head to Streetsville Village Square for the monthly summer event First Fridays to discover an evening market filled with handcrafted products, artisanal foods, and unique finds.
- September 6: Celebrate Mississauga’s 50th anniversary and support local artists at Wonderfest, a showcase 10 years in the making, featuring live performances by renowned musicians spanning genres, along with spoken word and visual artists, happening at the Living Arts Centre.
- September 6 – 8: Visit Port Credit for the 26th Annual Tim Hortons Southside Shuffle Blues & Jazz Festival, a non-profit festival with over 40 musical acts across three outdoor stages, including free and ticketed shows.
- September 7: Experience Portugal’s rich and colourful traditions at Portugalo Fest at Celebration Square, featuring musical performances, food vendors and a marketplace.
- September 7: Enter the magical world of fairytales with a retelling of classic princess stories performed by soprano Anna Wojcik and pianist Alex Wang during their concert Once Upon A Dream at the Living Arts Centre.
- September 7: Join the Mississauga Parkinson Canada SuperWalk, a 1km walk to raise funds and awareness in support of Canadians living with Parkinson’s, starting at JC Saddington Park.
- September 8: Get an exclusive look behind the scenes and have some free family fun with crafts, scavenger hunts, live music, artist meet and greets, and more at the Meadowvale Theatre Open House.

- September 13: Join the Sauga City Community Celebration at the Living Arts Centre to celebrate Mississauga’s 50th anniversary and enjoy music concerts by Five & Ten and Carla & The Latintrain, as well as a Latin dance lesson from Gessells and an art and word activation by Ylana Stelling and Verobiblio.
- September 14: Join fellow cyclists for the Applewood Community Ride and enjoy an 8 or 16-km route through scenic sights starting at Garnetwood Park.
- September 14: Celebrate the best of Mississauga’s music community while enjoying performances from Mikey Bloom, Jade Hilton, Arlene & The People and The Snake Charmer at the Mississauga Music Awards 2024 at the Living Arts Centre.
- September 14 – 15: Experience Filipino food, music, arts, and culture at the two-day Philippine Festival Mississauga at Celebration Square.
- September 15: Join historian Richard Collin for a Streetsville Historic Walking Tour exploring the fascinating heritage of the neighbourhood, starting at Streetsville Village Square.

- September 18: Celebrate Sauga’s 50th anniversary with a low-stimulation, sensory-friendly, float-based ensemble at the Quiet Parade, starting at the University of Toronto Mississauga.
- September 20: See the Juno Award-winning trio The Ennis Sisters at the Meadowvale Theatre in a brand new show that celebrates the songs and stories of Newfoundland and Labrador.
- September 20: Journey across Argentina’s diverse landscapes through its characteristic harmonies, melodies, and rhythms during El Ceibo – Rhythms of Home at the Living Arts Centre.
- September 20 – 21: Enjoy family fun, music, shows, documentaries, kids activities, vendors and traditional food at the Egyptian Coptic Festival at Celebration Square, the first and largest event for Canadians of Egyptian Coptic origin in North America.
- September 21: Join fellow cyclists for the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) Community Ride and enjoy an 8 or 16-km route through scenic sights starting at UTM.
- September 21: Be captivated by the extraordinary performances at Harmonics by BluPrint, including musicians whose influences span Western classical, pop, fusion, and Eastern traditions, along with dynamic performance art and dance, happening at Meadowvale Theatre.

- September 28: Support Melanoma Canada as they host the 2nd annual Smash Out Skin Cancer Celebrity Pickleball Tournament at One Health Clubs in Mississauga, welcoming players of all ages and skill levels.
- September 28: Experience the ultimate Beatles tribute at An Evening with The Fab Four at the Living Arts Centre.
- September 28: Dance along to live music during a dynamic evening of women in song, Isn’t She Lovely 2024, featuring Mississauga’s legendary entertainer Patti Jannetta alongside vocalists Heather Christine, Elena Kapeleris and Carla Gonzalez-Casanova at the Living Arts Centre.
